Welcome to New Hope.

We exist to be the very presence of Jesus Christ in the world. As a body of Christ-followers, we welcome seekers with questions, life challenges as well as fellow believers. We value family, worship, learning, growing, and fellowship with one another. Above all, we desire to be a community that shares the true love of Christ.

4th of July picnic

CELEBRATE WITH US on Sunday, Aug. 25th at our first combined church picnic with our new sister church, Bible Presbyterian, at Riverside Park in Merrill.  New Hope will get to meet our brothers- and sisters-in-Christ as we gather starting about 12:30 PM for a potluck meal, fun & games, and plenty of fellowship.  Sign up in the church narthex if you plan to attend and indicate whether you’ll bring a salad or dessert to pass.

Casual Coffee Break for ladies – Thurs., Aug. 8 starting at 9 AM

Ladies!  Join us at Vino Latte in Weston on Aug. 8th for our summer Casual Coffee Break!  New Hope’s Women’s Fellowship will be there starting at 9:00 AM til about 11:00.  Come when you can, leave when you need to.  Buy-your-own coffee, tea or food.  Conversation and fellowship is FREE!  Bring a friend or come by yourself and make friends!  Why?  Because summer is so busy and we can begin to feel disconnected. Our Coffee Break is just a chance to catch up with what’s happening in one another’s lives.  See you there!

Women’s “Breathe” Bible Study

The mid-winter women’s Bible study, “Breathe” by Pricilla Shirer has had to be postponed numerous times already due to snowstorms and frigid weather.  We were able to begin the study on Feb. 19 but due to continued snowy weather we are postponing the final 4 study sessions until March 12, 19, 26 (skipping April 2 for Ruby’s Pantry) and finishing up on April 9. We’re excited to continue our study and learn what God has to teach us about Sabboth living!  If you have questions or would like to join this study (since we’ve only met once so far), call the church office at 715-845-8541.
