JOIN US at New Hope Community Church for the 2013 CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM this Sunday evening, Dec. 15 at 6:45 PM. Delight yourself in the sights and sounds of the season as the children present “For the Glory of the King” in word and song. Discover along with “Bradley” the real meaning of Christmas and why we worship the Christ-child today. Pre-service Christmas music will be presented by children from the congregation beginning at 6:45, followed by the program at 7:00. EVERYONE is invited! Share in the joy of Christmas! Celebrate THANKSGIVING with us on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, Nov. 27, 7:00 PM as we gather for worship and praise to our great God. All are welcome. The service will include singing, prayer, Scripture, message from Pastor Dan Eisnor and the traditional New Hope time of congregational sharing about God’s blessings from this past year. Worship with us!
We’re excited to welcome missionaries Roy & Julie Eberhardt to New Hope on Sunday, Oct. 6th. They will share of their work with Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Cuicatec people of Oaxaca, Mexico. Roy and Julie have ministered for many years to the people there and have made great strides in Bible translation through the Cuicatec Project. They currently ask for prayers for the completion of the New Testament and publishing literacy materials in order that these people can read and write their own language as well as read the New Testament. New Hope Community Church looks forward to welcoming the Eberhardts on Oct. 6, which is also World Communion Sunday. What a privilege to share the Lord’s Table with Christians around the world as well as our missionary partners, Roy & Julie. Worship begins at 9:30 AM and all are welcome!
Children’s Church - Children participate, along with their families, in the Sunday morning worship service, until about half way thru and then are excused to Children’s Church. Children’s Church is for all children 3yrs. old thru 2nd grade.
Primary Sunday School Classes - Our first classes of the fall will start on Sunday, September 15th (classes follow our Sunday morning worship services). Classes are for all 3 year olds thru 8th grade. Classes dismiss at 11:50am.
SPARK – Our midweek program, for 3′s thru 6th grade, starts on Wednesday, October 2nd. SPARK meets from 6:30pm til 8:00pm. SPARK calendar runs from October thru April. All are welcome!
Jr High Youth Group - Youth Group for Jr Highers starts on Wednesday, September 11th. All 7th and 8th graders are welcome to attend! Meet in the Jr High Youth Room from 7:00 – 8:00pm / open gym from 6:30 to 7:00pm.
Sr High Youth Group - Youth Group for Sr Highers starts on Wednesday, September 11th. Meet in Hope Hall from 7:00 to 8:00pm, with open gym from 6:30 – 7:00pm. All high school students are welcome to attend!
Sr High Sunday School - Sunday School is immediately following the Sunday morning worship service, held in Hope Hall. Classes dismiss at 11:50am. Feel free to join us!
“BABY PIT STOP” at the Wisconsin Valley Fair in Wausau. This is a service project of New Hope Community Church. We provide for you a clean, safe, friendly area to diaper change your little ones! ABSOLUTELY FREE! There’s also a private area for nursing moms to sit and feed baby. Located in the Exhibition Building. Tell your friends and family. The booth will be set up for service 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM every day, July 30 – Aug. 4. Use as often as you wish!
Come one! Come all! The annual 4th of July Potluck Picnic will be held at New Hope Community Church on Thursday, July 4th! Join us for potluck picnic (bring a salad & dessert to pass). Hotdogs, hamburgers, beverages, place settings all provided. Organized games and activities on the church lawn following the meal. Come, celebrate our national heritage and freedoms, and enjoy great food and fellowship with the church family. Anyone is welcome. Prayer for the meal at 11:43 AM with potluck picnic following prayer.

Holy Week Services at New Hope Community Church:
Palm Sunday – March 24, 2013 … Worship with us beginning at 9:30 AM on Palm Sunday. Remember Jesus’ triumphant ride into Jerusalem as the children enter with a Palm Processional at the start of the service, waving palm branches and singing, “Hosanna! Hosanna!” Pastor Dan Eisnor will share a message from God’s Word.
Good Friday – March 29, 2013 … Remember the sacrifice of our Lord on the night in which He was betrayed. This communion service will begin at 7:00 PM. All are welcome.
Easter Sunday – March 31, 2013 … Celebrate the Risen Lord! Join us for Easter breakfast from 8:00-9:00 AM in Fellowship Hall followed by joy filled worship beginning at 9:30 AM. ”He is Risen! He is Risen, indeed!”
MEN’S FELLOWSHIP is sponsoring a BOWLING NIGHT on Friday evening, March 1 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Day’s Bowl-a-Dome in Wausau. For men of all ages.
