2015 Fust Farm - Alzen family 3

“Sonday on the Farm” – A church service at the farm!

We’ve been blessed by a church family who invites New Hope to hold a Sunday service at their farm located just a “country mile” from the church building. This fun event held every few years draws many community friends and neighbors and our own members enjoy the special service, food, games, and fellowship as well.  Some years our own praise team has lead worship and most recently we sponsored The Alzen Family – a Christian bluegrass group!

Fellowship Committee
Fellowship Committee of New Hope Community Church hosts numerous events throughout the year for individuals and families of the church and community.  Annual and past events include:

  • Easter Morning Breakfast – celebrate the Risen Lord with us on Easter morning!  We offer an early service of lively Praise & Worship 7:30-8:00 AM, breakfast from 8:00-9:00 AM, followed by our Easter Worship Service 9:30 – 10:45 AM.  Breakfast hosted by the Fellowship Committee.
  • Annual 4th of July Picnic – this family friendly picnic is held rain or shine!  We start with the most amazing potluck lunch including hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill and side dishes & desserts supplied by the congregation that leaves no one going away hungry!  Fun & games and plenty of fellowship  all afternoon long.  You’re encouraged to bring your family, friends & neighbors.
  • Annual Thanksgiving Eve Dinner (Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015) – come, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!  Potluck dinner with delicious sides and desserts supplied by the congregation compliment the holiday style meal catered in.  Everyone is welcome!
