Deacons

Kevin Baumann

Kevin owns Jon’s Auto Repair in Mosinee, Wisconsin. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Larissa and Karson. They have been members since 1993 and enjoy the sense of community within our church body. He also serves on the Town of Easton Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter. When he’s not working, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and camping. He also spends much of his free time going with Karson to baseball games and ice racing in the winter.

Jason Doepke

Jason and his wife, Maria, have two daughters and one son. He works as a Code and Certification Engineer and serves as a volunteer firefighter. Jason enjoys a wide variety of pastimes: axe throwing, running, biking, cornhole, woodworking projects, softball, coaching baseball, and attending his kids' activities and sports. Jason is our Worship Team's drummer and has also served in our youth ministry, VBS and Sunday School.

Ben Dulak

Ben and his wife, Molly, have three children still at home and one adult child. Ben owns By Design Electric and works as a master electrician. Ben enjoys serving the church as a youth group leader and as a deacon. In his free time Ben enjoys snowmobiling, camping, and having an open calendar day to work around the house.

Jon Hanson

Jon is an Employment Program Coordinator for the Department of Corrections. He and his wife, Beth, have two adult children. He has previously served as an elder and is currently serving as a deacon. He has a heart for serving others and enjoys helping out in any way he can. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities including camping, bicycling, kayaking and golf.

Phillip Sturm

Phil is a teacher in the Wausau School District. He and his wife, Mary, have three children. As one of the deacons at New Hope, he finds the service portion of ministry to be very rewarding. He enjoys the feeling of accomplishment that comes when tasks are completed. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and golf. He also spends much of his free time chasing his kids around the area as a spectator/coach for their hobbies.
