We have a number of opportunities for New Hope members to serve and use the gifts the Lord has given them. Contact us if you feel led to serve in a particular area. Please know that any role serving children and/or youth requires a background check.
Discipleship
- Leading/helping with a small group Bible study
- Men’s ministry assistance
- Women’s ministry assistance
- Sunday school teaching (primary teacher, helper, substitute teacher)
- Youth group leader, helper, or substitute
- Children’s ministry teacher, helper, or substitute
- Nursery worker
- VBS teacher or helper
Leadership
- Small groups (serving as the facilitator/point person for a small group)
- Fellowship (working with a team to organize service and food preparation for ministry events)
Service
- Serving with KidsHope USA or Ruby’s Pantry – see our Local Ministries page
- Outdoor and lawn maintenance
- Minor repairs, maintenance, and small building projects
- Food preparation for special events or meals for members in need
- Visiting the ill, elderly, and special needs folks in their homes, nursing home, or hospital
- Picking up the elderly and those without transportation for worship and church events
- Decorating for holidays or special events
- Participation in mission trips and service projects
Worship
- Sunday morning welcome team participation (welcome center, greeter)
- Music
- Reading Scripture
